Despite the travel ban caused by Covid-19, researchers of the project still find a way to continue their work, which is meeting online.
The researchers schedule their meetings every two weeks, to update their progress and to see if the team members need any support. In the previous meetings, the researchers reached a consensus on writing four working papers, focusing on these topics: international experience regarding social inclusion, Vietnam’s law and policies on social inclusion and social protection, the role of NGOs in supporting the mobilisation of migrant worker groups and advocating policy reform, and Hanoi locality study.
In order to achieve the target of finishing the working papers, a detailed timeline was introduced by the researchers. All of the team members are very excited about making it and they believe that they can reach the milestones in the timeline and come up with excellent studies by the end of the project.
