Trained in International Studies, Ms Mai Mai works as a visiting lecturer at VNU University of Social Sciences and Humanities Hanoi (USSH) and a staff at the International Cooperation Office, USSH. She is also active on the “Social Inclusion Vietnam” project.
As a researcher, Mai Mai specializes in International Relations and Development Studies, and analyzes ASEAN, the Southeast Asian regional organization. She was selected to shadow the professors and staff at The Center for Global Politics, Free University of Berlin, under the Political Science and Inernational Relations Education in Southeast Asia Project. She was also chosen to represent Vietnam in various international platforms, such as The Southeast Asia – China Education Research Network Meeting, the ASEAN Youth Representatives in Experiencing the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy, the 44th Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Program… She hosted a series of workshop on Civil Rights in 2018 for more than 2000 youngsters aged 15-30 in Vietnam, organized by the U.S. Consulate General in Vietnam and she was one of the only two Vietnamese advocates in the ASEAN My World 2030 Advocates Programme, an initiative launched by the UNDP Administrator and all Forign Minuisters from the ASEAN region to raise public awareness on Sustainable Developments Goals and the ASEAN Community.
