Meeting with Oxfam Vietnam

On December 6, 2019, the researchers of the project had the pleasure of visiting to the offices of Oxfam Vietnam to meet with Ms. Le Thuy Hanh, Workers’ Right Project Manager of Oxfam Vietnam.

At the meeting, the SIVN researchers expressed their appreciation of the efforts of Oxfam Vietnam in addressing development issues such as poverty and inequality. They gave Ms Hanh a brief overview of the research project and expressed their desire to cooperate with Oxfam in Vietnam not only in the framework of the current project but also in other projects in the future. Ms Hanh  provided information about Oxfam Vietnam’s work in this area. Both sides agreed that Oxfam Vietnam and the SIVN team would look for ways to cooperate in this area, and would continue to share information on migrant workers issues.
